Why are we having this Milonga?

Seven years ago Florencia Taccetti was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a lumpectomy and radiation therapy the cancer was apparently cured...
Until March of 2009.

This time, due to a different nature of cancer, the doctors advised Florencia to have a mastectomy.
Since then, she has been battling the disease with integrative medicine, in the hopes of healing her body and avoid such a drastic surgery. Even though her health has improved, the latest tests showed that the disease is still there, and that it might be better to continue with a more conventional approach...

Surgery was inevitable and performed in mid August. She is recovering very well. However, she is still struggling with health issues and suffering the consequences of the strong treatments. 

We continue to support Florencia in any approach that she decides to take. And we’ll offer her what we enjoy doing: another Milonga… a very special Milonga.
